Brian Boyer selected to attend Syngenta Business Institute

Cinnabar Hills is proud to announce that our Superintendent Brian Boyer is one of the 25 Superintendents nationwide to attend the Syngenta Business Institute in Wake Forest University School of Business this week. This seminar is put on by Syngenta, a provider of seeds and pesticides to the golf industries.

Superintendents from all over the United States apply, and only a fraction are selected. Applicants were required to submit a 250-word essay on why they believe they should be chosen. Those selected got an all-expense paid trip to Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The seminar focuses on the business side of being a golf course superintendent, such as financial and human resource management, delegation skills, effective communications and negotiation skills.
